Hi, I'm Yash Deshpande

Hello there!

I'm Yash Deshpande, a Computer Science graduate from Stevens Institute of Technology (May 2025). I completed my undergraduate degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, where I first discovered my interest in building software systems and solving real-world problems through technology.

My curiosity for engineering and innovation drives me to keep exploring advancements in Software Development, Machine Learning, and AI. With two years of experience at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), I worked on production-grade backend development, testing, and RPA solutions for global telecom clients. This exposure strengthened my technical depth, problem-solving ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills while working on high-scale, enterprise systems.

During my undergrad, I developed and deployed the Student Information Management System (SIMS) for my college—a platform now used by 5,000+ students, faculty, and parents for over five years. SIMS manages attendance, grades, events, and role-based access. Building a system that continues to operate at scale taught me the importance of reliability, maintainability, and user-centric design.

I’m particularly fascinated by the evolving impact of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs) in modern software engineering. I’ve explored technologies such as LangChain, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering to build more interactive, intelligent, and automated applications that enhance user experience and decision-making.

With a strong foundation in software engineering and growing expertise in applied AI, I’m driven to build impactful, future-ready systems. I’m excited about contributing to teams that push the boundaries of what software and intelligent systems can achieve.
